Welcome To The Pool(e) Family Scottish Database

This web site has been set up to assist anyone trying to trace their ancestors in Scotland by the name of Pool, Poole or Pooll. The name Pool, Poole and Pooll comes from Dumfriesshire in the Scottish borders.

Although this site is primarily Scottish, l hope to develop it to contain Pool(e) family members from around the world.

l have came across occasions when the spelling of "Pool" has been changed to "Poole", so even if your name is spelled "Poole" do not assume that it has always been spelled that way.

This web site is in it's early stages of development and any suggestions to improve it would be appreciatated.

l hope this site proves helpful to all who use it.
